I agree, I don't think it matters who pays, if we are both working!

It is nice to be treated and have the man pay but I don't think it should be for everything. I am a little selfish in that department and would like for my man to pay for everything but I don't because it should be equal. Growing up many girls have that princess fantasy if u will and expect the man to take care of everything. My parents taught me to expect these things so that I don't settle for those that aren't able to provide and to know that I will be treated to nice things. Men are looked at as the (sole) providers and are suppose to take care of everything, whether big or small, so when a relationship forms that role takes place. It really takes place whether a relationship exists or not..... I am very independent and don't need a man for any purpose dealing with money. But I do want a man for companionship, love, etc. Since I can provide for myself I don't ask for anything and I shouldn't have to. If you want to do something for me or give me something than u do it cause u feel the need/want to. In my last relationship I had to ask him to take me out cause he didn't know when I wanted to do something, WTF! The other excuses were he didn't have money or my work schedule messed it up(I use to work at night). So I have a question for u! Y do men have to be told/asked what to do? Take the initiative, make an effort, do something on your own to let your girl know that u know how to make her happy and you can think on your own 2 feet!
